Scarborough Beach Association

This is a worthwhile organisation which has a mix of business and community membership. Members will vote in the executive committee at the AGM. We encourage new members to join. If you want a voice such as nominating someone to stand for election to the committee, you are invited to seek membership application forms from Paul Regan at the Scarborough Fair Markets who has a copy of the Scarborough Beach Association constitution. If you want Scarborough to go forward and help develop a community where wise and robust business with the support of the community makes for a better Scarborough, then join the Scarborough Beach Association.  Contact any Scarborough Beach Association executives listed above to let them know your opinions about how you think Scarborough can improve. If you don't agree with some committee decisions do something about it! It's a democracy. Lobbying your committee members or run for office. Better still volunteer your support via the Scarborough Beach Association. Don't whine from the sidelines expecting hard working committees to do it all while sitting on your hands.  Committee membership come with responsibility.  Fremantle and other communities have NGOs such as Chambers of Commerce and progress associations, etc.  The broad membership base of the Scarborough Beach Association makes it a bit more special.
