Getting to and from Scarborough Beach is easy with frequent buses, shared paths, Safe Active Streets, rideshare, taxis and airport transfers.

Public transport

Walking and cycling

The coastal shared path runs north–south along the coast, and Manning and Moorland streets are Safe Active Streets designed for cycling east–west. Bike racks are available near the beachfront.

Rideshare and taxi drop-off

Use designated drop-off areas near the beachfront to avoid blocking traffic. Expect queues for taxis at closing time on weekend nights.

From Perth Airport

Airport minibus transfers can take you directly to Scarborough Beach accommodation without stopping at CBD hotels, then continue north along the Sunset Coast to Hillarys. Taxis and rideshare are also available. By car, the route is via the Graham Farmer Freeway, Mitchell Freeway, Powis Street, Sanders Drive, Selby Street and Scarborough Beach Road — see directions from Perth Airport.
